RENTAL POLICY AGREEMENT

Note- Screenshot of transactions should be send positively through what's app or email/ transaction details should shared through sms if payment is made by the QR code in the bill or through direct bank account transfer.All payments made through Phone Pe, G.Pay etc should be send in merchant/business account of Das Decorators & not in any personal account.

Reserving Equipment: Quotes and proposals do not guarantee availability of rental items. Equipment and items will be reserved / will be scheduled for delivery only upon receipt of a 25% NON REFUNDABLE deposit (Cash, Cheques/Draft, Debit & Credit Card or UPI). All reserved items  is subject to a 50% cancellation fee up to 10 days before event. Items cancelled less than 10 days from event will be charged full rental price. Kindly issue cheques / pay orders / demand drafts in favour of Das Decorators only.




Final Payment: Lessee must provide Das Decorators  with a final count 2 days prior to event at which time a final order memo with balance due will be provided. Full payment is due prior to event. No orders will be scheduled for delivery until 80% payment is received. An order is considered complete 2 days prior to scheduled delivery. A surcharge of ₹100 will be added to your account each time a completed order is changed, If payment is not received within 7 days from date of delivery interest @ 36% PA will be charged. For Monthly Rental Rates  the amount of rent payable for any fraction of a month at the beginning or end of the Rental Period shall be the monthly rental rate, prorated according to the number of calendar days in such fraction.




On-Site Service: Lessee may retain the services of Das Decorators during an event (if available). Additional charges will apply for this services.




Delivery/Pickup Service (if opted): Delivery service is available on all orders regardless of size. All fees are based on tailgate delivery and charged by geographic location. Additional delivery charges will occur for Basement, 1st floor or higher delivery locations, excessive distance (beyond 15 meters)for loading and unloading trucks, specific delivery and pickup times, and after-hours delivery and pickup. Delivery fees, Goods shifting Charges amount may change after site inspection at the time of delivery or for Bad Weather.

All items will be delivered and picked up at a designated location. The Lessee should be available to count all items upon delivery and pickup, otherwise, the counts of Das Decorators will be considered accurate. Orders are typically delivered 12 to 20 hours in advance of your event while pickups occur  within 24hours following your event. You may request(7 AM to 12PM)  or (4 PM to 8pm) delivery or pickup service. Responsibility for all equipment’s remains with the Lessee from the time of delivery to the time of pickup. Please be sure all equipment is secured when not in use and protected from the weather. 

Das Decorators or its partners will not be liable for any delay in delivery time due to but not limited to omissions of government, fires, floods, severe weather, any other acts of God, riots, insurrection, acts of criminals or terrorists, war, breakdown of vehicles or any unavoidable circumstances.




Functionality of Rented Items/Goods: Das Decorators doesn't guarantee uninterrupted or fault free working of service/s, Machines, Any equipment’s, Ovens etc., and shall not be liable to the Lessee/Customer or to any user or other persons for injuries or damages or death resulting from its operations. If any fault arises in any of rented goods inform us immediately,  we will try to rectify it as early as possible, or will arrange a replacement (if possible) otherwise the final rent (net amount) after all discounts of that particular object will be deducted from the bill in " pro rata " basis from the time we receive the information of breakdown.




Weather: Lessee understands that tent are temporary structures designed to provide limited protection from weather conditions, primarily sun and rain; however there may be situations, particularly those involving strong winds and lightning, in which tents will not provide protection and may even be damaged or blown over. Evacuation of tents to avoid possibly injury is recommended when severe weather threatens the area where the tent is erected. People must leave the tents and not seek shelter in tents during such conditions. 




Clean up/Preparation For Pickup: All floral arrangements, trash, and decorations of any kind should be removed from tent before scheduled pickup time. Lessee assumes responsibility for all damages caused by decorations. Please be aware that some decorations can cause a permanent stain on the tent, linen, and other rental items. Please ask if you are unsure to avoid the cost of damages. Decorations must not affect the structural integrity of the tent. All chairs, tables, beddings etc. should be stacked as delivered. All dishes, glassware and cooking equipment should be returned to proper rack or container and assembled at a single location for pickup. Dishes, glassware, Utensils and flatware must be well rinsed and food and particle-free. Stoves, oven, and grills must be returned clean.  Please be aware that fabric items should be returned food and particle free and be shaken out and put into the bags provided. Fabric items that are returned with burns, holes, tears, or are permanently stained due to negligence will be billed at replacement cost. 




Missing or Damaged Items/ Goods: Das Decorators will pick up the item on specified date and at a time agreed upon booking if opted. If all items are not present, items not returned to  Das Decorators within 2 business days after the event are considered as missing. Missing or Damaged/excessively dirty items will be charged to the Lessee at replacement/cleaning cost. A detailed invoice on these items will be provided to the Lessee.

Indemnification and Defence: Lessor shall not be responsible for loss or damage to property, material, or equipment’s belonging to Lessee, its agents, employees, suppliers, or anyone directly or indirectly related to Lessee while said goods, or equipment’s are in Lessor’s care, custody, control or under Lessor’s physical control. If legal proceedings are brought against Das Decorators for compensation for personal injuries or property damage arising out of the event, Lessee will indemnify Das Decorators and its employees. Lessee is encouraged to obtain appropriate floater insurance against such risk of loss. Lessee and its insurers waive all rights of subrogation against Lessor for such losses. 




OWNERSHIP: Lessor shall at all times retain ownership and title of the Equipment’s/ Goods. Lessee shall give Lessor immediate notice in the event that any of said Equipment's /Goods is levied upon or is about to become liable or is threatened with seizure, and Lessee shall indemnify Lessor against all loss and damages caused by such action. 

Additional charges will apply if: 

1.‌The site is not ready or accessible when the crew arrives.

2.‌The tent and rented items is not ready for prearranged pickup.

3.‌The delivery charges may increase up to 25 - 80% due to Bad Weather.(Rainy Day, Excessive heat waves, Excessive Fog etc.).   Customer will be informed for the same by WhatsApp/SMS/Phone call before the order is out for delivery. Hundred percent of this amount goes to the delivery partner.

4.‌Delivery or Pickups is from any location other than ground level (upstairs or downstairs).

5.‌All chairs, tables, beddings etc. are not stacked and bagged as delivered for pickup.

6.‌Food service items/ Utensils are not rinsed properly.

7.‌All additional equipment (stoves, grills, ovens, etc.) is left dirty.

8.‌Customer requires pickups before or after normal business hours.

9.‌Delayed payments.

10.‌Wet fabric items.

11.‌In case any cheques issued against any Invoice/ Order Memo are dishonoured, A Charges of Rs 500/- will be charged + all bank charges+ Recovery charges/ Legal Charges (if any). 


Be sure all equipment is returned according to these TERMS AND CONDITIONS. The Lessee is solely responsible for any additional charges incurred as a result of failure to meet these conditions.  The Lessee should take no due certificate from Das Decorators after clearing all goods and all due payments to close the agreement. All collection fees, attorney fees, court costs, or any expense involved in the collection of rental charges will be the non prevailing party's responsibility. I have read and agree to the above TERMS AND CONDITIONS and acknowledge receipt of same.
